Doc has a knack for ignoring fatal injuries. He's done it once before, when bullets 'missed' all his vital arteries and organs.

Yeah, he survived this. But still, that wound looks like hell.

Also, I'm proud of McBonald. He is not a joke after all. Gold star.

Also, based on the FUTURE seen in an earlier bit, I'm pretty kinda sorta sure that he succeeds in killing Radical.

But can't find Funkenhouser. And so the US military is slightly mad at him and wants to kill him.

I hope this ends with Doc punching his way through purgatory.

It is time for an injection of adrenaline, I'm guessing, because it's going to be very hard to fight like that, and he must keep going.

That was back before the ghost wizard stripped away his plot armor.

He might still have some protagonist juice left. I mean, he can still talk even though he almost certainly has a punctured lung.

But yeah. Normally Doc can deliver punches that knock over vehicles. But when he punched Donald, Donald reacted very much like it was a normal punch from a reasonably strong person.

Also, Donald said he mimed out several traps. For Doc's sake let's hope they're not still active.

Though I guess with Donald knocked out, the mime sword is gone. Doc doesn't seem to be acting like there's still a sword in him.

Magic is confusing. No wonder he spent his grad school career trying to solve it.

Any ideas what McBonald was mumbling before Doc knocked him out?
