This is the official "The P.I. Casefiles" summaries thread, where all the summaries for each Volume grouped for ease of access.
Only official summaries are to be placed here; please put all comments/criticism of a specific summary in the most recent discussion thread. Thanks.

Note: Forum Names are used when appropriate.

Also, just to make sure this is clear: please don't think that I am the sole summary writer. If no one else has yet, please feel free to write your own synopsis of, for example, pages 17 through 25 of Volume 5. In fact, I encourage you to do so; there's no way just one person can do it alone. Please p.m. your synopsis to me, and I will edit it into the definitive synopsis when the current volume is finished.

Spoiler:
One lonely night in the town of Wasusy, defamed boxer Veil goes to the office of 42th, cyborg-raptor P.I. Veil is listing off a number of his enemies when none other then The Batman enters from the shadows asking about one of them, Dancing Sam, who was recently found dead. Unbeknownst to them, on an adjacent rooftop a clever assasin, Owen, is setting up for a hit. As The Batman leaves the office, another mysterious stranger appears behind Owen, the gentleman Rache. He warns Owen not to kill the men in the office, with a death threat. Rache then disappears and Owen is left on the rooftop. He suddenly senses someone watching him and looks to the adjacent rooftop to see none other than 42th, who had gone after the Batman for an autograph of all things. 42th sees him but Owen is able to slip away. Then the raptor goes back to his office to grab his coat and finds Rache in his chair. The gentleman asks for a favor from 42th, a location of somebody unspoken. He then leaves. As 42th leaves the office he searches his pockets for his keys and is surprised to find the keys to, The Batmobile.

Then 42th crashes the Batmobile. Owen helps to defend a young dame named Miss P, who accepts a ride home in the Batmobile, which Batman had found. Batman somehow notices that Metalninja is in a room of the King's Hotel across the street, listening to their conversation and drives his car into a room twenty stories up. In another part of town, Clara Minnelli, sister of Charlie "Robo-Dogface", leaves her apartment and is walking down the street when her arm is caught by a suspicious English gent. Somewhere unknown in the trunk of a car, Seamus O’Seamus is just awakening, and he's tied up.

After leaving 42th's office in a huff, Seamus is kidnapped by mobsters who mistake him for rival head gangster Robo Dog-Face Charles. Rache rescues him, and the two are driving when they pass King's Hotel, and there's an explosion. The explosion is from the bomb Time-Traveling Lincoln planted under RDFC's desk for being an "incompetent mobster," but RDFC survives by hiding in a safe, a la Indiana Jones (incidentally, the same safe that MetalNinja was keeping the taped conversations of RDFC to give to Owen - Charles steals these tapes and they are never seen again).

Rache and Seamus head to King's Hotel to investigate where they find Batman "questioning" a hapless MetalNinja (with an unconscious Miss P and delirious 42th in the Batmobile). Rache and Seamus stage a diversion, and there's a scuffle, which is ended when Seamus heaves Batman over the stairway railing and into the lobby below (across the street from the telephone where Clara and Owen are). MetalNinja passes out. Rache takes the Batmobile for a joyride, gets smacked by Miss P, and abandons 42th on railroad tracks.

42th disguises himself as a hobo. Veil comes along, after having arranged for a hit on 42th, and grabs an un-raptorly hobo to take to the site of the hit. Batman shows up, and Veil takes out the hit men and convinces Batman that they were RDFC's mobsters, thus turning Batman's focus to neutralizing Charles' operations. Batman heads for the docks (Charles' headquarters), but the bomb explosion at King's Hotel demands his attention.

Seamus gets woozy from low sugar and is attended by the lovely Clara and Batman, with Miss P smirking in the background. Miss P takes Seamus off to Henry Smithgel's estate for a "talk," and Clara is incapacitated by a falling brick, which automatically qualifies her for recruitment as the new Robin. At the Smithgel estate, Seamus is attacked by Vaudevillians and breaks out with RACHE's aid. They abscond with Miss P to Pearl's Diner, where RACHE gets his breakfast and Seamus arranges a real meeting with Smithgel. They head their separate ways. Veil tries to run down Lincoln, and fails, and kills a random civilian, and succeeds.

Owen digs out MetalNinja from the rubble of King's Hotel, and they head to Pearl's Diner to discuss the situation. They're attacked by the undead gypsy-clown Lackadaisical(?), who is the pirate king of the pirate crew currently sitting in port and terrorizing the citizens of Wasusy. Things look bad until 42th, who returned from his hobo-informant contacts, jumps into the fray, claws a-blazing, and subdues Lackadaisical(?). Unfortunately, he also subdues Owen and MetalNinja by leaving them in a dumpster. 42th goes inside to try Pearl's blueberry pie. Veil happens upon Lackadaisical(?) and does the madman's equivalent of befriending him because they both love chaos. Rache sidles into the diner and holds a napkin conversation with 42th. Then Rache sidles back out.

Owen and MetalNinja free themselves and crash into the diner with Francisco "Paco" Fonesca, who just had his apartment blown up in a very threatening manner. They hold a campfire meeting with 42th. It is revealed that Veil is mad scientist Doctor Rugen's experiment gone wrong, when Veil's mind broke, he killed his creator and started hallucinating things. Unfortunately, due to his amped-up mental powers, his hallucinations become reality, as in the case of Lincoln. They head to 42th's office to discuss things further. Fonesca leaves to buy a knife SHANNNNNNK. Clara, unwillingly, receives Robin-training, befriends Alfred, and attempts to escape but fails. Batman decides that she is ready, and they make for the docks to take on Charles. The duo finds him and ties him up for the police, with Clara doing some very unsisterly things for good measure, and swing back to the Batcave.

At the same time, Lackadaisical(?) breaks into the Batcave and steals a gun. Then he kidnaps Rache, gives him his father's gun, and tells him to kill Charles because mob activities interfere terribly with pirate activities. Rache breaks into Charles's headquarters, makes a terrifically bloody mess of things, and spirits the already trussed-up Charles away to Tildewick Bridge by Pearl's Diner. Rache intimidates him a bit before pushing him into Wasusy River (a survivable fall).

Miss P meets with Smithgel and learns of a complicated twisty business. It's basically about absolution and Smithgel righting the wrongs that he made. She and Smithgel head to Tildewick bridge, to meet with Seamus and Lincoln. They're a bit late, and Lincoln's a bit early, and Seamus is right on time, though, which gives Lincoln the opening to push Seamus into Wasusy River, because tangible hallucinations are nutty like that, and make a run for it. Smithgel and Miss P give chase. Owen, MetalNinja, and the 42th track Veil down to the Palladium, an old boxing ring that was the site of Veil's last victories. Veil does spooky mental hocus-pocus, which incenses MetalNinja, so he goes for a walk by the river and finds Seamus. 42th leaves very inconspicuously. Owen starts edging out as Veil's hallucinations turn to memories of Dancing Sam, the murdered boxer -- but Owen blacks out and wakes up in Smithgel's living room. While the trio is out, Lackadaisical blows up 42th's office.

42th returns to his office to find it in little pieces all over the street. Luckily, his secretary Molly Aberdeen isn't in today, so nobody's harmed. He picks up a special delivery of spy gadgets and heads out to gumshoe. He engages in a brawl with Lincoln behind King's Hotel, loses the upper hand (talon), is saved by his spy gadget, and loses the upper hand (talon) again. At that moment, Miss P decides to make an ill-planned stand of courage and shoot Lincoln with a non-existent bullet. Smithgel steps in with his wicked awesome gun and "kills" Lincoln - "kills" because Lincoln, being only a figment of Veil's imagination, vanishes upon "death."

42nd (some malicious dragon superentity) revives Lincoln time as an autonomous figure, independent of Veil's mind. Fonesca happens upon the trio of 42th, Miss P, and Smithgel, and they form an accord and split up in two cars: Miss P with 42th in Smithgel's Rolls Royce, and Smithgel with Fonesca in the latter's car (so that Paco can haz a cheezburger). Rache sees, but can't follow because they all have cars and he doesn't.

Seamus comes to, after being rescued from Wasusy River by MetalNinja. When he demonstrates his undying gratefulness by attacking MetalNinja, he gets knocked out again and wakes up in the street, where he's mistaken for Robo Dog-Face Charles, again, but this time by Franco Lombardo (looking for revenge after RDFC beat him up and put his brother into a coma). Lombardo lets Seamus go, after obtaining Charles' possible location.

Batman angsts for a while by the grave of his parents, Alfred at his side, and considers Dick. Then he and Clara go out for a night of wild restrained, dignified partying socializing. Lackadaisical breaks into the Batcave-cum-Wayne-mansion again and does terrible things to Alfred. The mansion burns down. Batman and Clara return in time to save Alfred, Clara is a scary degree mad, and they speed off for the circus in the Batmobile.

MetalNinja goes for another walk because things are just not going well for him, and he gets (badly) mugged by notmelman. Rache wanders onto the scene and scares the would-be mugger away. Because he's still searching for Doctor Rugen (he's not aware that Veil killed him a long time ago), he and MetalNinja hotwire a vehicle with the intention of heading to Smithgel's digs. Suddenly, car crash! 42th, Miss P, and MetalNinja are all knocked unconscious. Agent Montoya arrives in Wasusy by aircraft and finds a gun with special significance.

Rache pulls Miss P and 42th out before Lombardo comes upon the scene, whereupon Rache tries to offer him a hug, which he misinterprets really badly. Miss P goes on a brief guilt trip and escapes with 42th. It is learned that 42th, being a technologically-advanced cyborg-velociraptor, can "read" the thoughts of the weak-minded, which is how he keeps an effective PI business. Rache follows Miss P and 42th to Smithgel's mansion, where Smithgel and Fonesca have retreated to after their burger outing. Owen, who woke up in the mansion after the confrontation with Veil in the Palladium, "borrows" a shiny car from Smithgel and comes upon MetalNinja, lying amidst the wreckage of the car explosion. They head back to Smithgel's mansion. Lombardo reads about activity down at the docks, involving RDFC. He goes to the docks. Veil intercepts 42th before he and Miss P make it to Smithgel's estate. He tells 42th to go to the docks. Seamus seeks out his cousin, Shamus. Laca-Dread-sical surveys the growing crowd on the docks. He unwisely taunts Batman and Clara.

Lacadaisical(?) has a run in with his future self down at the docks. Franco, needing a mode of transportation, wins a bike off a bet and heads to the dock. Clara rushes in blind rage the clowns a the docks but gets knocked back. Due to some odd resonance, 42th’s mind reading device transmits knowledge into Rache who learns the truth about Rugen. Batman watches as Clara gets knocked about and then rushes the clowns asking that one crucial question: “Why?” Laca-Dread-sical reveals to Batman that it was him who killed his parents. Batman deals with this by retrieving Robin and resuming his assault.

42th rounds up Miss P, Rache, Owen, MetalNinja, Fonesca into Smithgel’s mansion to get everybody on the same page and plan out an attack on Veil before heading to the docks. Franco makes it to the docks with intentions of finding Robo-Dogface Charles and watches the events that are happening there unfold. Clara continues the battle with Batman two steps ahead of her when she notices the new arrivals to the docks. Ohm makes his appearance and watches in silence. Seamus, in his apartment by the docks, watches the events unfold. Fonesca considers the strength of the word versus the strength of the sword. Agent Montoya arrives on the scene to watch. Laca-Dread-sical! steals a car and rams it into Robin. MetalNinja rushes to Clara’s aid. Fonesca recovers from being thrown out of the car and prepares for retaliation. Franco joins the fray. Batman finishes his move and waits on the clowns. Owen is on the defense. Clara has a hazy dream/memory while passed out. And then suddenly…
PSYChIC CAR RADIO EXPLOSION!

Fonesca reflects on his lawyerhood during the explosion. Miss P has a moment affected by the psychic radio explosion. It is revealed that the dragon, 42nd, has been the culprit in placing valuables in Veil’s apartment.

Spoiler:
Post the psychic radio explosion, those at the ground zero were taken out of continuity for two weeks. Seamus, not at ground zero, waited out the two excruciating weeks. Batman goes through the happiest moments of his life before. The dragon takes the P.I. and turns him into a fully organic, feral, anthropomorphic velociraptor. Clara wakes up in a cast trying to contact Alfred. Miss P hallucinates about being in an empty apartment building before materializing in a train. The blast knocks loose a deeply buried aspect of Franco Lombardo's personality and develops into a second personality. Laca-Dread-sical! wakes up in the possession of a currently unknown puppet master. Fonesca wakes up tied to a chair, bounded and blindfolded. MetalNinja wakes up with guilt over not being able to save Clara as Franco finds him. Both get on the train with Miss P. Rache vows revenge on Veil. Fonesca reunites with his father and starts airing out long repressed father issues. Right at the end of Volume 1, Ohm introduces himself and rescues a broken Clara from the aftermath of the explosion. Batman goes on a new crusade to find Clara while she wakes up and faces her caretakers. Lacadaisical(?) is then also charged with tracking down Clara. Fonesca catches up with his dad and remember the old times.

Rache, who has de-aged 20 odd years, meets up with Agent Montoya who reveals the nature of the universe and the psychic car radio explosion and tries to recruit Rache for various endeavors. The dragon listens in on the conversation and begins to travel the avenues of causality to uncover answers. Laca-Dread-sical! phases around various points around the city, and MetalNinja wakes up on the train and reunites with Miss P and Franco Lombardo. Batman reassesses the damages at Wayne Manor. Veil returns to the lab where he gained his powers.

Bruce Wanye meets up with Señor Fonesca for "business purposes" while the two Fonescas partake in father/son bonding. Laca-Dread-sical! begins recruiting, starting with the demechanized P.I. Owen comes to in Smithgel's Mansion and starts out to find MetalNinja just as Miss P, Franco, and MetalNinja are about to come to Smithgel's mansion. Fonesca lucks up big time as Bruce Wane pulls away Enri Fonesca from his current business with his son. A giant seagull bursts out of Smithgel's mansion. MetalNinja and Miss P make it safely inside the mansion, but the bird drops Franco off at Wayne Enterprises causing Warren to recede back into Franco's mind. The notion of a giant seagull sinks in on MetalNinja as he notices tire tracks leading from the garage.

Fonesca has a moment's respite and a burrito before he has another father/son session. Owen takes a moment for reflection before heading off to meet Don Enri. Dazed and confused, Seamus stumbles near the diner thinking he might've recognized Rache. Franco has chance reunion and manages to bolt before the police can asky any questions. Batman begins stealthily searching through Don Enri's office and stumbles over Francisco Fonesca. Ohm begins his crusade against crime in Wasusy and starts with a crooked priest. Agent Montoya is still in Pearl's Diner as someone walks in. Laca-Dread-sical! tries to get someone to listen.

Franco happens upon Clara and another person after they've been thrown out a window. Ohm takes care of business by infiltrating Don Enri's headquarters, doing away with Don Enri himself, and rescuing Fonesca. Seamus stumbles into Pearls where Agent Montoya persuades Seamus into an interview. Fonesca is delirious while being rescued. The dragon, 42nd, heals Clara in exchange that she helps Franco Lombardo. Rache watches as Agent Montoya takes Seamus for a ride down to the police station. Clara recovers from her fall and runs to retrieve her Robin outfit while the doctor takes a fall out the window. It is revealed that Don Enri survived the attack on his life. Warren makes his reappearance, and the Franco/Clara team up starts on shaky ground as Franco leads the way. Batman receives a battered, mentally fatigued Fonesca from Ohm. Franco and Robin arrive at Franco’s humble abode while Batman brings back Fonesca to be treated at the Bat Cave. Seamus feels skittish as he and Montoya make their way to the police station, and when they arrive, Seamus goes out cold. Fonesca wakes up in the Bat Cave and orders breakfast (Wait… you turned down an opportunity to eat tons of bacon? From Batman? You turned down Bat-Bacon?!?) Montoya slowly drags Seamus to the infirmary and waits. Owen rifles through the Wasusy under city and, when he returns to his car, reunites with MetalNinja.
Clara confronts Franco and leaves before the situation escalates. Franco battles Warren by listening to a reconstructed motor with a stethoscope. Laca-Dread-sical! has a conversation regarding the fate of Wasusy. Veil wakes up, and Batman searches through the city. Don Enri sits in his office quietly plotting revenge. Holding a thermos of Wasusy City coffee, MetalNinja and Miss P manage to track down Owen. The three team up and head towards Miss P’s apartment only to stop and help a hobo. Franco heads to an oil rig over the river to find help from old friends.

Ohm makes his escape out of the building. Fonesca makes a phone call and finds out he’s been missing for weeks and his fiancée is here. Miss P, Owen, and MetalNinja make their way to Miss P’s apartment and find Clara there. Seamus makes a break for it and escapes from Agent Montoya. Don Enri decrees that Fonesca’s fiancé must be kidnapped. Clara reunites with Miss P, Owen, and MetalNinja. Franco and Billy start sleuthing and try to fight a giant monstrosity. Meanwhile in Wasusy’s Chinatown, a man named Lich is frantically searching for a key. Fonesca pleads with the butler to let him free in order to protect his fiancée. Lich enters into a mysterious doctors office. Don Enri temps Mali. Franco and Billy get into a fight with a lot of Vaudevillians only to be saved by the Batman. Fonesca and Batman argue while speeding around in the Batmobile. Owen, Miss P, MetalNinja, and Clara agree to track down the source of the explosion. Don Enri begins to obsess over Mali. Rodney finds a warm haven at Pearl's. Franco bangs his head, meets an ally, and both of them and Billy rush at a monster.

Seamus, already deciding he was over the edge, works up the nerve to rob Pearl. Rodney digs out a weapon to combat Seamus, a dog whistle. Batman and Fonesca break into one of Don Enri's warehouses and find out the location of Mali. They make it into the next warehouse and start their rescue operation only to run into Ohm, who had just infiltrated the warehouse bent on eliminating Don Enri. Miss P confronts MetalNinja about Owen's slinking off. A clown leads Owen on a wild goosechase throughout the city and tries to explain to him everything, but Owen, not understanding, fills him with lead.

INTERDIMENSIONAL WAR BREAKS OUT.

Lich recalls what he can from his experience with lycanthropy. Franco begins battling his invading duplicates. Lich and his companion doctor have a conversation. Batwoman joins the fray. While Ohm and Batman converse, Fonesca searches for Mali and outshanks his father; both pass out. Franco continues to K.O. his duplicates. The Dragon makes his way to the Cyborg Velociraptor universe and swaps out the P.I. for this universe’s match. Samuel Blaylock adjusts to no longer being the lone human in a heard of cyborg velociraptors. Clara and Dick make arrive at Pearl’s Diner (at a different time from Franco, Owen, and Miss P.). Clara in turn gives Annalise a few notions to mull over regarding the nature of Wasusy. MetalNinja makes a reappearance in Wasusy after having time to hone his skills. Annalise and Nathan have a scuffle after learning about her going off on her own. In the morgue, the corpse of Don Enri is rolled in and the consequences of his prior dealings are put into effect. Owen explains the current situation of the mafia underground to Franco with a shocking surprise. Franco remembers when he first learned how to play billiard and when his father died and balks at the idea that his father is still alive. In the end, he accepts in order to get to the bottom of the mystery. Dick crime fights a bit before heading back to Pearl’s

Clara attempts to work off her tab, but Pearl kicks them out. Seamus reinvents his image and tries to order his life. Owen and Miss P. catch up in the booth at Pearl’s. Franco has an internal conversation with himself and starts heading to the Olta Bier. The P.I. sits in Pearl’s and logs everything he witnesses. Owen plunders the remains of the Naked Eyes. Miss P. contemplates a fresh start. Nicola Caimo and Franco Lombardo meet in the Olta Bier bar. Ohm watches Caimo from a booth in the bar. Caimo is ushered into a back room in the Olta Bier and is contacted by his clients.

Owen ponders over the various items collected from the Naked Eyes. Franco decides to track down information regarding his father and gets drugged. Clara goes back to Wayne Manor to sleep off her troubles but ends up running away and attempts breaking into a car. Anneliese decides to head to the Felt Fedora lounge. Seamus tries to break into a car, which just happens to be the one Clara is breaking into. Clara, being in a bad mood, decides to take her frustrations out on Seamus. All while maskless, Ohm manages to rescue and escape the Olta Bier with Franco. Ohm and an unconscious Franco run into the already started fight between Clara and Seamus. Ohm slips Franco into the car and holds the two at bay with a gun. Seamus recognizes Clara and gets totally pwned by her before Ohm shows up. Seamus then, in a haze, experiences bullet time and rushes Ohm to wrest the gun out of his hands only for Clara to steal the gun from Seamus. Seamus begins to cough up blood. The P.I. happens upon the scene. Clara, now holding the gun, starts calling the shots.

Caimo survives his ordeal with the proprietors of the Olta Bier and found new lodgings in Wasusy. Franco wakes up in the car and manages to escape. Clara watches in awe as the car she was trying to steal is stolen by Franco. While Seamus is bleeding, Clara makes an executive decision to recruit Ohm and the P.I. into getting Seamus to a doctor. Nightwing heads out for a night of vigilante-ing. Seamus hallucinates in the backseat of a stolen car. Owen makes his way to Leo’s Bar. Franco wakes up (again) chained to a chair in an interrogation room. He manages to escape to the cocktail lounge part of the building and perform an impromptu jazz routine before blacking out (again). Owen meets up with Sally Meraz and discuss business including the murder of the owners of the Naked Eyes. Anneliese critiques a certain sax player at the Felt Fadora lounge. Clara, Seamus, Ohm, and the P.I. arrive at Clara’s chosen destination, an “off the records” doctor who coincidentally knows Ohm. After a slight verbal scuffle and battle of wills, Clara gets the doctor to help Seamus by handing over the gun she’d been carrying. Ohm disappears into the apartment.

Franco, mistaken for a bar patron, obtains a new set of wheels. Seamus, still suffering from his ailments, is only aware that he had been placed on a table. Wasusy’s coroner offers a woman in the rain a newspaper to help protect from the rain. Rodney stumbles out of a bar and runs into someone in a dark alley. Franco continues his internal dialogue while driving down the road, decides to find his father, and blacks out. He wakes up with the car pulled over in some alleyway. Franco notices a crowd of people forming around a man and investigates. Nightwing happens upon the crowd Franco found, and the two proceed to fight the rushing crowd. The P.I recounts the recent events from his perspective. It is learned that a bullet was causing Seamus his coughing trouble and that Seamus will survive. Clara wakes up to inspect Seamus. Soon, the doctor, with whom Clara has a history with, confronts her with the gun. While Nightwing fights off the crowd, Franco confronts the man in the center of the crowd, Sergey, who has had his daughter kidnapped. Franco and Nightwing agree to help. Back at the Felt Fedora, Caimo, who had a little too much to drink, watched Franco play the sax and ended up talking to the woman Franco had talked to.

Franco’s father and Sergey have a private discussion. Anneliese has a brief musical discussion with a white-haired violinist inspiring her to head to the piano on stage. Seamus wakes up from his surgery and distracts the doctor with the gun. Clara wrests the gun from the doctor’s grip, and she and Seamus escape. Nightwing begins his investigation and lands on a bar roof to search for information. Seamus and Clara make their way up to a specific office in a building. Franco takes a very long, hard look at his life and decides to confront his father (Ed. Note: Very nice writing here, X). Clara and Seamus come to a “Don’t ask me any questions, and I’ll tell you no lies” understanding. Nightwing fights off Sergey and tracks down Franco’s father. Caimo attempts to sober up and leave only to stumble over a recently beat up Sergey.

The state of Seamus’s mental deterioration is finally revealed as he accidentally cuts himself on a razor. Clara rushes to his aid, and then they both leave the P.I.’s office, where they had been the entire time. The two make their way back to Seamus’s apartment, while Seamus is fuming over his predicament and that Clara recognized him. On their way there, they are ambushed and Seamus saves the day. Now Seamus is holding a gun and pondering on how to take care of the only person that recognizes who he was. While Seamus aims the gun at Clara, she uses her training with Batman to get nuts. After a well choreographed fight scene, the fight between Clara and Seamus ends in conversation. Annaliese has a run in with a certain wolf-man on stage. Seamus begins to probe and insinuate accusations about Clara’s character, and then Clara runs off. Shamus gives a little bit of Seamus’s back story, and then meets Annaliese at the Felt Fedora. Seamus follows after Clara and manages to get into the same down elevator as her. Annaliese has a flashback to when she chose her stage name.

The city coroner runs into a figure on the streets and promises a kid assistance for a price. Clara tries to escape from Seamus, but he insists that they have to stay together. Alfred contacts Nightwing and has him look after Clara. Caimo is charged by the O’Biers to take out one of their competitors, Sally Meraz. Rodney comes across a mysterious figure with a raven on his shoulder offering to help mend his arm; Rodney politely refuses and is promptly fed to the raven. Seamus and Clara continue to wander the streets while Seamus ponders how many he has killed. Seamus and Clara break into the library for the night, and Clara swiftly abandons Seamus. Seamus has a confrontation with a mysterious figure at 3 a.m. in the library. Franco dreams of a happy reunion with his father, but in reality the reunion wasn’t so happy. It turns out that after Franco’s father died evil possessed his body and is now on a mission to destroy everything. Shamus, Annaliese, and Nathan make their way to the bank where Shamus had totally mistook Annaliese for a Yugoslavian bear trainer and folk singer just as the bank was about to be held up.

Batman makes it back to Wasusy. Clara also returns to the Batcave. Owen stares over the clues he’s been collecting and finally finds an envelope addressed to himself. Batman comforts Clara as she returns back. Nathan saves the day at the bank. Clara crashes onto her bed after a long night. Norman Jayden enters the city. Franco, in one of the most amazing fight scenes ever, defeats the evil possessing his father’s body and ends with an epic one liner. Nightwing then swoops in and saves a severely beaten Franco. Norman arrives at the police station and receives orders to track down the Canine American, Seamus O’Seamus.

Shamus reacts simultaneously as Nathan, who shot the bank robber, and ends up getting shot in the leg by the robber. Norman checks into the King’s Hotel. In the aftermath of the bank robbery, Anna and Nathan make an expedient exit. Norman wakes up from troubled sleep and deals with germaphobia before drifting off again. Anna deals with a crisis of conscious over Nathan shooting a man. Norman investigates the crime scene and tries to pick up Clara and Seamus’s trail. Seamus exits the library in paranoia and finds a gun store to finish sleeping in. Norman continues his 10 cent whirlwind tour around Wasusy with lunch at Pearl’s diner. Franco wakes up in a hospital room, now half blind due to injuries, reunites with Cindy, and begins a new chapter of his life. Norman preemptively calls his mother before she can track him down at the Wasusy police station.

Seamus takes time to loot the gun store and leaves. Norman had analyzed all that he could out of the evidence on Seamus the department collected until the reports of Seamus’s plundering of the gun store pour in. Seamus checks into a cheap hotel. The police manage to track down Franco at Pearl’s for questioning about finding his father’s body who, technically should have been dead five years ago. Nightwing tracks down Clara in Wayne Manor to talk to her. Norman investigates the crime scene at the gun shop, buys a car, and makes phone calls to hotels to track Seamus down. Nightwing gives Clara a history of Batman and his time as Robin; Clara tells him everything that’s happened during her stint as Robin. Seamus wakes up looking for breakfast, and upon finding none, heads back to his hotel room to sleep more. Norman prepares his plan of attack on Seamus at the hotel, but his OCD adds an extra challenge. Seamus confronts Norman in the hotel room digging through his pilfered guns, and manages to escape to the back alleyway through the air conditioning vents.

Owen meets up with Briggs from the Naked Eyes and receives a job to hunt down Seamus. Norman “Mr. Potty Mouth” Jayden recovers from his fight with Seamus and is confronted over his drug abuse. Caimo has a pre-meeting with Briggs and is waiting for Owen to find him. Clara begins to mend bridges. Owen meets up with Caimo and exchanges information, and then Owen then proceeds to kidnap Agent Jayden. Caimo enters Owens hotel room as Jayden wakes up and his OCD takes over. Caimo and Owen discover that extracting information from a hallucinating, obsessive compulsive, drug ridden FBI agent will not be that difficult. Owen begins interrogating and finds out that getting information out of Jayden will be easy but information that makes sense is another story. Seamus breaks into a department store in order to cauterize his wound after blowing half his foot off. Agent Jayden manages to escape and make it back to his hotel room as the hallucinations wear off. Jayden then reports his kidnapping while covering up the fact that he was hallucinating the entire time.

Anneliese attempts to call her father to let him know she’s wanting to come home with the call ending disastrously. Norman and the chief look for the hotel he was taken too. Owen and Caimo settle into a restaurant for lunch. Norman, also out for lunch at Pearl’s, meets up with the Chief and discusses the latest on crime in Wasusy including the bank robbery O’Shamus and Anneliese were involved in. Clara, out on the town, manages to find her way to Pearl’s and has a chance encounter with Agent Jayden. After lunch, Jayden tracks down the robber and interrogates him regarding the shooting at the bank robbery. Lombardo is strong-armed into working for the police and is given an assignment while everyone is busy looking for Seamus O’Seamus. Shamus is through the city home when he runs across a crazed Seamus O’Seamus. Jayden makes his daily call to his mother and mentions that he has found a potential sweetheart. Clara goes out for nightly patrol with Batman.

Anneliese decides that she and Nathan needs to go to the Wasusy Park for fresh air. Norman has his lunch date with Clara. Franco runs into Anneliese and Nathan in the park. Clara, painfully split over calling Norman, finally decides to call him and does so. Owen notices Jayden and the chief about to search his hotel room and cuts his conversation with Caimo short to clear out his stash and regroup. Batman gives a brief rundown about the mafia situation. Norman discovers a threat note directed at him, shows it to the chief, and decides to track down Shamus at the Felt Fedora. Seamus has a hate-filled reunion with Shamus as he bandages Seamus’s wounds. Annaliese discusses when she met Shamus at the Felt Fedora to Franco. Shamus and Seamus continue their reunion ending with Shamus knocking out Seamus but not before Seamus mentions Norman Jayden’s name.

Agent Jayden and Remington head to the Felt Fedora looking for O’Shamus. Clara has a nightmare about drowning. Norman plays the piano for a while trying to get the booking agent’s attention in order to ask about Shamus, but Agent Remington plays the part of talent agent too well and Norman misses his chance. Shamus hires someone to look into this “Norman Jayden” fellow and heads back to his abode to sift through Seamus’s plunder. Franco and Anneliese continue their conversation for a bit before Franco heads off to the Felt Fedora. Clara comments on how (relatively) quiet Wasusy has been lately. Jayden and Remington attempt to get information from the bar patrons and end up empty handed before running into Franco Lombardo. Anneliese and Nathan head back to their hotel. Norman and Franco get to know each other by getting wasted at the bar at the Felt Fedora. After apparently having “enough” to drink, Franco and Norman head to Pearl’s to eat.
