July 2013 Discussion Thread

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

Apparently whatever a Kartzinjaggen is, it is common to both the Radical Lands and Cumberland, Maryland, but not our world. Therefore I'm going to believe it's originally a Radical-thing™, which can exist in Doc's world owing to the intersection there between our world and the Radical Lands.

There are plenty of things in our world that exist in some form in the Radical Land, though. Sharks, helicopters, punches... Maybe King Radical is more familiar with his own version, the Kartzinbackflipjaggen.

Apparently, it is. & based on the picture, I'd say that it's a red, hairy octopus not unlike something we've already seen.

It would be so cool if King Rad were to blast the kartzinjaggen.

However, I don't see it happening. It would complicate his negotiations.

That was my first thought. Hope that thing never gets to the surface.

We know it's a monster.

And has red ears.

Kartzinjaggen = Big red furry dragon?

Or the octopus thing is a good guess, aye.

This comic has some of the best reaction faces of all time. Hastings should dedicate a page where he just shows all the faces the cast makes throughout the series

I thought it was based on carcinogen, just made more Germanic sounding to make it a monster name.

Good call, Chuckles.

Also, NDMalletGuy -- that would make one heck of a poster.
