Comic discussion thread - December 2013

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

Comic discussion thread - December 2013

Happy December! The end of the previous thread lives here, in the McNinja archives as always.

Apparently the next part of the storyline has been "planned for years" - I'm looking forward to seeing what this may be...

Hey, this thread is early! (In my timezone.)

I want to know if we're going to get an explanation for Doc's hopping around and the furry time monster and all that jazz from ages ago.

It could be time travelers / the founding fathers. . . .

It could be those giant space creatures our leaders hope would ignore us. . . .

It could be the demon overlord, although that was much, much recent. . . .

It could be Sebastian the vampire. . . .

It could be Sparklelord, although Hastings has said that no one has guessed it, and everyone has guessed Sparklelord. . . .

It could be Mary the Christian Witch. . . .

It could be the Inochtek following King Radical through the time portal to get more pizza. . . .

It could be those pink fuzzy multi-tentacled monsters living between the timelines that the space dinosaurs alter into horrorsauruses. . . .

It could be another Chuck Goodrich. . . .

It could be the real Dr. McLuchador. . . .

It could be Franz Raynor. . . .

It could be the ghosts who don't appreciate being used to fuel a robot. . . .

It could be Bearclaw. . . .

It could be Marty Monster. . . .

It could be Robster and a company of tricky lobster people. . . .

It could be Victor the plumber. . . .

It could be Karate Chop Washington. . . .

It could be Axe Cop. . . .

But I'm going to say it's the Ultimate Diplomat. . . .

Winner winner? Whether our Chuck or yet another Chuck, he seems to have returned yet again.

I called it! In the november thread. "There is always a Chuck Goodrich to save the day."

I was going to say, someone else called it first. NullDragon guessed Chuck Goodrich in the November thread.

Now, if Chuck Goodrich changes things, that merely creates a new timeline. It doesn't change anything for the current timeline. What is there to prevent Ron The Wizard from re-stabilizing the time portal and King Radical from continuing to go back in the current timeline - this time knowing he needed to take care of Chuck Goodrich, too?

I'm sure Hastings covers that, too.

We already know at least one Chuck went back in time to stop Radical and failed to do so. In fact, he was rather brutally killed by KR himself. I hope... I hope that isn't what happens.

Oh, it would be very easy for Chuck Goodrich to stop King Radical. All he would need to do is show up for work within 30 days and turn a key.

It could be that all the chicanery with the time portal is going to cause it to go super-critical or something and inadvertently create some kind of Chucktastrophe in which the Chucks just keep coming. Imagine a world overrun with Chuck Goodriches trying to save the world from everything all at once. And then, on top of that, a ton of Chucks trying desperately to stop the flow of Chucks. And then we have Chucks trying to stop those Chucks, who then have their own Chucks, who then...

Haha, that would be amazing. Chuck Goodrich has to go back in time to save the world from too many Chuck Goodriches going back in time.

Seriously, I'd love to know what this one is out to do -- though I doubt we'll find out.
