Comic Discussion Thread - June 2014

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

Yeah, not a lot of foresight on this little abomination project. I sorta get the Frankenrilla thing, but why did he have to put on the extra heads? Were they really needed for her to live?

Also, do all female gorilla's in this society have "normal" western names while the males have the "odd" names?

Yeah, I was wondering about that too.

I think Dr. Hastings mentioned (in an alt text) that he was just throwing names all over the place.

Adisa is like those guys that buy IKEA furniture and find extra pieces lying around - they just hammer them in somewhere even if it doesn't make sense. He went and found other gorillas to replace parts for his wife and figured he didn't want to waste any of them. Besides, craaaaaaaazy.

Hmm, I wonder how McNinja knew that Adisa pinned the whole Frankenstein thing on him?

Okay, I understand Mortal Kombat physics, suspension of disbelief, et cetera, but what the *bleep* kind of kooky gorilla magic did he use to get all those body parts to hold together and work properly in that amount of time?

And yeah, I don't even know why I'm asking this.

While CheeseWhisper goes as crazy as Adisa trying to figure out why Adisa used all those heads and arms. . . .

Did you pay attention to Dr. McNinja on page 71? The body positioning? The way he talks logic while jumping into that position, speech that no normal human being could possibly do?

I'm guessing that Bat-Man wasn't the only comic book that the good Doc read as a kid. I'm guessing he was also into Spider-Man big time. . . .

Doc's technique may not work against the gorillumvirate. He has trouble with nemeses who can alter their anatomy, and this one's already undergone turnkey renovations.
