Comic Discussion Thread - October 2014

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

Feels kinda weird to be quoting my own post for the segue...

So the negazone taps into your head. But it's not very smart about it on the first try.

Here or here, perhaps demonstrating we're all living in the Negazone.

Guess McNinja is the first not evil guy to come through here and Mr. Eagle Headed Spirit will give him a pass out of here. Or maybe a pass in exchange for freeing the spirit somehow.

The spirit seems pretty cool with being trapped here.

Trapping the mentally ill in a terrifying nightmare realm instead of providing some proper help and counseling seems like a terrible system which, all too tragically, mirrors care of the mentally ill in the United States, both currently and historically.

I guess I was simply hoping it would be better in this more radical earth.

Or that the doctor present might object.

Doc sure cuts off (or gets cut off, as the case may be) a lot of conversations in this story just as they hit a very important point. I wonder if we'll encounter that Negazone spirit later?

Now, will we encounter the other obstacle that President Funkhouser was going to tell him about?

After recently reading about the guy who tried to kill Andrew Jackson (Richard Lawrence), I could go for an entire comic book about the guy who turned into that couch.

Have you read about the two Puerto Ricans who tried to assassinate Harry Truman? True story. I understand ever since then, every President has paid attention to little Puerto Rico.

Of course, that happened at Blair House, and I'm sure Blair House doesn't have a Negazone. . . .
