Drop the cat and go watch Touch of Evil.

Finally saw Captain America. Oh, my heart. Gonna go ship Steve and Tony now to make myself feel better.

Nice! I was dreading it being bad. It's on my list.

Saw Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy the other day. As a fan of the book I couldn't imagine a better cast for it - Gary Oldman, John Hurt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth? Yes please.

I'm not quite sure how it managed to keep me enthralled for two hours with very little actual happening on screen but it's a good tense watch, just be prepared to have to concentrate to follow the plot.

I can't wait to see that, but the release got pushed back to December.

In the meantime, I'll be watching Drive every day.

Ooh, Drive. I've been desperately trying to persuade Liz I'm not the only person in the house who wants to see Drive.

I just saw Killer Elite today. It was better than I expected. I mostly saw it because Jason Statham is in it, and he does solid, entertaining action flicks, but I hadn't realized that Killer Elite is (at least partially) based on a true story. The movie ended up having some political twists and turns I didn't see coming, which was nice. I'd definitely say you should give it a look if you don't mind the violence, or enjoy it, as my case is.

I was thinking about seeing Killer Elite, but I dunno. I still need to see the remake of The Mechanic.

Also an excellent movie. Really, I just need to set up a movie marathon one of these days, focused entirely around a bunch of kick-ass Jason Statham movies.

I re-watched Bronson the other day. Great movie, with a performance nothing short of spectacular from Tom Hardy.

Can hardly wait to see how he represents Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

I think it's a little odd that they're using Bane for a movie that takes place relatively early in Batman's career (cause the whole point of Bane trying to break him is because Bats was a legend) but I'm still crazy excited.

Unlike Yahoo. Every article I've seen from them about TDKR is dumping on things like costume design.
