It must be because of one of your battles with your arch-nemesis. That defective poison must have actually been a spider pheromone that he sprayed you with in the hopes that you would go insane from having to look at spiders all the time....or spiders just like you, or something.

The other day I felt a tickle on my shoulder, glanced, and saw a friggin spider there. I screamed and batted it away. I was on webcam, so my friends got to see my freakout. My mom heard me scream so she came to see what was wrong. She helped me find the spider and I killed it.

I've been seeing spiders all over recently. They come out in force around Fall, for whatever reason. The other day there was this huge green one with red triangles on its body outside my front door. There was a centipede in my house the other night, too.

I swear I had a dream about that spider last night >.> I'd forgotten when I woke up.

And there's a praying mantis today. I haven't seen one of those things in years.

Possible conspiracy? Insect kingdom performing coup against mammalian? Must remember to investigate further.

I would be more worried about the plants. I heard they can control insects no-....No. No surely they wouldn't be able to....Excuse me, I need to go save the world. Or die trying.

I haven't seen a dragonfly in years, but last night we were eating out on our deck and one HUGE one swooped down over the table, stopped for a sec, then flew off.

And while I was all "wtf?" thinking I just hallucinated that, our 8-year-old goes "woah was that a dragonfly?!"

Something weird is in the air.

we got really big cicadas or locusts or something in texas during the summer. we'd find them dead on the patio around the pool, bodies the size and girth of my thumb, wings big enough to be glasses lenses.

the other night, while going through an outdoor haunted house, a fence fell over. a lantern spilled fuel on me and on the ground. luckily, the pool on the ground was the one that caught fire, but i thought i was gonna have to stop drop and roll for a solid ten seconds

Seamus: The biggest problem in zombie apocalypses is poor planning and not enough ammo.
