i did not know that
G: Like helplessness experiments. That's the biggest problem in zombie apocalypses. People who survive will always eventually come to question why they bother.
Seamus: The biggest problem in zombie apocalypses is poor planning and not enough ammo.

Uhh yes...I don't do the Bookspace.

Ever since I moved from North Carolina I've been getting attacked by..things, in my sleep. I don't know what they are, I just know that they want to kill me. And it's not just me either! Even my mom has had a few run ins with them. It's why I took up sleeping with my sword again.

It is impossible to DELETE your account. You can DEACTIVATE your account but its still there its just you dont get the emails to hotmail or whatever you use. Nothing else changes.

No one can see your page. All your posts and pictures are no longer visible to users. One of my friends deactivated and it looked like I was talking to myself on one of my status updates.

I mentioned that I had because when I did so, it was in fact possible to delete one's Facebook account. I have no idea whether or not it is still possible to do so, but when I did, it was. It was, I agree, impossible to delete your account from the options page, however, there are ways around that. No idea if it still works, but this is more or less what I used.

Edit: And I can confirm that I no longer have a Facebook Account. I just tried to log into Facebook with all three of the email addresses I was using, both at the time of account deletion, and at the time of account creation, and none of them had an account attached to them.

I think what Duke means is that Facebook's terms and conditions allow them to keep all of your personal information, embarassing photos and whatnot and use them for nefarious porpoises purposes, should they be so inclined. All of this even after you've deleted them.

That said, there's nothing to suggest that they actually do keep anything. The worst you can safely accuse Facebook of right now is being sloppy with what personal information they give to advertisers (from their currently maintained accounts).
Problem? Thoughts on how to improve the forum? Hit the suggestions thread!
